Brazilian and French Delegations Brought Innovation to China International Import Expo

Today is the fifth day of The China International Import Expo in Shanghai, Porda Havas/AMO’s clients, The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil) and France China Committee (CFC), have lead delegations of Brazilian and French enterprises to Shanghai respectively, presenting representative products, services and innovative technology to Chinese consumers and showing the different side of their countries. Porda Havas/AMO assisted both clients in formulating tailored media strategies and successfully arranged interviews with mainstream Chinese media, resulted in wide coverage from CCTV, Xinhua and People’s Daily etc.

 

The Brazilian delegation is composed of 87 companies. Their participation in the Expo is divided into five pavilions – Institutional, Food and Beverage, Services, Accessories and Consumer Goods and Medical and Health Care Equipment, and is coordinated by Apex-Brazil and the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MRE), and has the participation of several players such as the Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, Ministry of Planning, Development and Management, Ministry Tourism, National Confederation of Industry, among other entities.

 

 

On the other hand, the "So French – So Innovative" campaign, launched by the France China Committee during the CIIE from 5th to 10th November 2018, aims to promote, through concrete evidence, all the facets of French companies’ innovation to Chinese stakeholders, and illustrates with specific examples the value of the French offer in China and highlight successful Franco-Chinese cooperations.
